    Marantz SR-5000 problem

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what is going on with my receiver. I have a Marantz SR-5000 and have hooked up three vcr's to it into the VCR1 input. Everytime I do it I get the stereo output to work as soon as it is hooked up but after I turn the receiver off and then on again I no longer have any sound out of the left channel. This is only happening on the VCR1 input. I have changed VCR's and cables all with the same results. Any ideas on what is wrong or how much it will cost to get fixed? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Tks

    Not sure why it's happening

But unless you are maxed out, why not just hook it up to another (aux) input?
