I recently received a new Sony DVD Recorder RDR-GX315. After hooking it up, I immediately noticed that there is fan noise constantly. I don't think that there is something wrong with the fan (no whine..etc), but the noise basically like interference and is very noticeable when the sound is down on the TV. Do all DVD recorders have a fan? I suppose this is required because of the tuner??? I can't believe how annoying this is...
