Most any sound bar would be compatible, you want to see what type of audio output your TV has and make sure the sound bar has the same type input.

Hi Terrie I'll echo what Peabody said. Looking at your TV specs it has both an optical audio out and analog audio out so you'll want to make sure the sound bar has either an optical or analog audio input. From my little bit of research the majority of soundbars out there have both.

If you have a few soundbars in mind post them here and we'll be able to make sure they have what you need for hook up.

I am very happy with my ZVOX 555, with an external sub attached, although it does have a 6" woofer.

Read the reviews on sound bars and listen for yourself. They are a big improvement on TV sound but many sound thin, shrill or tinny. Don't go cheap. You will have to decide if you want a subwoofer with it or not. Listen carefully to dialog when you audition them.

This Philips has excellent reviews but may be hard to find.

Some of the Sony's are decent and the Sonos is the best I have heard but expensive

I listened to several of them about 1 year ago and ended up buying a pair definitive technology home theater bookshelf speakers to use with a cheap pioneer receiver. The sound is much better than any sound bar.
