    LCD interference with IR remote

I just set up my bedroom with a LCD tv and Comcast HD cable box. The combo worked fine for a couple days, but now the Comcast(or universal remote) remote won't work with the tv on. My rig in the living room, similar set up, works fine. ??
After a little research, I found out LCD tvs can have this affect on remotes.
So, do I need an IR repeater or a RF type remote?

Will you share your LCD IR interference research with us? I've never heard of this before.

Just a link where the same problem is mentioned :

    http://www.remotecentral.com/cgi-bin...hread.cgi?2882

I found out that it does go away after 10-15 minutes.
I'd rather not have to wait...
