How often do manufacturers come out with new televisions?

I was wondering how often manufacturers cycle through their tv models and when the next batch of Sonys, Hitachi, and Toshiba will be coming out.

I would say new models for a given size come out less than a year but a particular model may last a bit more than a year. They have different models of same size for different price point/features. These models are not necessary come out all at same time so that they can have some thing new all the time for marketing. Some times they even make model for specific retailer to make price shopping more difficult.

Product lines are renewed each year. Sometimes models do carryover. New models are shown at CES in early/mid January, most retailers place their orders around this time or soon thereafter. The first new product of the year generally begins to show up in spring with the remainder of the product lines being released over the next 5-6 months. The last of the new product is of course released in november for X-mas.
