    HTIB Question
Hi everyone. My nine year old Bose system just died. I know, it was overpriced, but I didn't know any better back then. Anyway I'm in the market for another system and don't want to spend the time or money to put a system together piece by piece. I've been looking at a few systems and wanted to know what you thought. Currently I'm considering:

    1) Onkyo HT-S760 (refurbished from their website for $459 plus a free DVSP300 DVD player)

    2) JVC TH-M65

    3) Yamaha YHT 740

    4) Cambridge Soundworks Megatheater 505 (or 510)

Any thoughts on these or similar systems?

ONKYO 760 - like i have said before on this forum, I have owned the system and am very impressed with it...for the money it sounds very very good, it is a powerhouse compared to any other HTIB, plus you can expand if you want to upgrade speakers later you have a good receiver & player to drive them. Also you get a powered sub, which you could use on another receiver or amp, so this system gives you a lot of flexibility, power and clean sound even in music which you won't get in those little speaker systems.
