    Home Theater Recommendations Please
    I would like to buy a home theater in a box as I cannot afford to put together the system I would like. Can anyone recommend something good in the price range of $500-$1000? I am more concerned with the sound for movies and not music. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

    Build slowly. Start with a decent AVR and 2 fronts. Add the rest in steps.

    I remember www.crutchfield.com had an Onkyo HTIB for around $499.00 discounted from it's original price. I don't have anymore info, I was on there looking for something else and just happened to see it. Sony usually has them for under $500.00 as well.

    your right Peabody, crutchfield had a few with DVD players included (Denon, Onky and a Yamaha) system that would fit his price range nicely.
