    Help With New Blu Ray
I am looking for a new quality Blu Ray player. I have a 70" Sharp 3D and I want to buy a quality 3D Blu Ray player. I'll be routing everything through a Yamaha RX-V673. Should I consider buying a Yamaha Blu Ray for compatibility with the AV receiver? BDS 673 maybe?

    Any suggestions?

I feel the Yamaha BDP's cost too much for what you get. You can buy the Oppo for the same $499.00 and have an excellent player. For less money the Sony S590 is really good and easy to set up, featuring Wyfi, a step up would be the Sony S790 which would give you two HDMI outputs and reviewed to have great picture quality.

You won't regret getting an OPPO-103. I have two 93s and love them.

What, exactly, do you mean by "quality"?

The Oppo's are very nice and the larger ones offer multi-channel analog audio options but, they cost a pretty penny and most people don't really need/use them.

Virtually any Blu-ray can produce a stunning picture and sound that, thanks to HDMI, is limited only by your receiver and speakers.

You would be surprised at what a petite Sony BDP-S390* can offer as far as picture quality pictures and a plethora of WiFi apps as well. They sell for under $130. Sometimes > $100 on sale.

Granted, it doesn't look impressive and the price really doesn't confer bragging rights, but when you overlook those things, it's a pretty durn fine performer.

*If you want 3D, then the Sony BDP-S590 sells for about $10 more.

Looks like OPPO-103 is not getting good reviews regarding its picture and sound quality...

I agree with Markw that Sony bluray players are probably the best player on the market in terms of picture quality. Here is a reveiw of Sony basic model BDP-S390 that got better rating than OPPO-103 and it cost much less:
