HELP with choosing SONY htib AUDIO SYSTEM

Need help deciding on these two speaker sets. I have a coupon to sonystyle so it kinda has to be one or the other. I want one that will be the best for music.

I am afraid that at that level there will be little or no difference between them.Listen to each, if possible using familiar music and see if one sounds better to you.Look for the features you are looking for as well.

Go for the one that sucks the least...which might be a toughie.

You sound like you got the same deal a friend of mine got, he got a sony HTIB
because his wife had worked at a grocery store for 20 years.
He gave back the yamaha I had given him, " too complicated",
liked his sony HTIB for awhile, then the speakers started giving out because he played
it too loud trying to get vollume out of it.
He's not very happy with it...

As others have suggested, sometimes a deal really is not a deal if in the end you are still stuck with a less than ideal product. I could think of several ways to make your $500 sound a lot better.
