HDMI DVD setting

just got my new HDMI DVD player, what HDMI setting should i leave the unit on. should i push 1080 or set at 720p? thanks all,

Your Mitsubishi HDTV has a native resolution of 1280 x 720p, so I would expect you will achieve a superior picture by outputting 720p. What model Denon DVD player did you purchase?

Thanks, I purchased the entry level 557. I was amazed on how much these players have come down in price. I swear the base model DVD HDMI version players were 600.00 just a short time ago.
