    Harman Kardon AVR 235 7.1 Receiver and 6.1 system

    I am thinking of pairing the Harman Kardon AVR 235 7.1 with the Hsu Research VT-12 6.1 system (you buy the sub separetly). Will the receiver "do" a 6.1 speaker setup even though it is a 7.1 one? I am a newbie and have just spent a lot of time online so any input is appreciated very much.
