    Flat Speaker Wires

Hi all, so i'm trying to hide my speaker wires. I've read about flat speaker wires, where you can hang on your wall and paint over it. Below is the link.

Do you think this can affect my sound on my 5.1 surround sound??

Should I just stick with the normal monster cables...

They offer up to a 12 gauge wire equivelent so resistance should not be an issue. The only weak link would be shielding and interconnect design.

I would check into a waranty or return policy to make sure you could return them if you are not happy with the performace. Buy them, hook them up before floating them into the wall, and see how they sound.

Flat wires won't sound any different than, well, round, speaker wires and shielding isn't an issue for speaker wires of a similar gauge. You should be fine. I didn't look, but some are adhesive-backed which will make affixing them to the wall easy and painless. Once that's done, just paint over 'em and enjoy.
