    DVR with DVD Recorder?

Does a DVR or TiVO with a DVD recorder exist. I mean all I want to do is record over the air stuff to DVD so the ole lady can take it to work.

    Thanks in advance...

I'd like to upgrade to the TOSHIBA RDX-S55 Multi Drive DVD Recorder
250GB Hard Drive / Multi-Drive Playback and Recording / Upconversion to 720p/1080i Resolution with HDMI / Records and plays DVD and CD.

My JVC DR-MX1S is obsolete already. Only 80 MB drive and no HD input. Just coax & S-vid in. And no upconversion other than progressive scan, 480i in 480p out. I got it because it was the only model I found to play VHS as well. What was I thinking?

Lists for 459.99 at J&R. Bet it can be found for less.

Strange. I usually feel like I don't know squat compared to everyone else here (this includes you). You just happened to pick a topic that I knew something about. I wanted to jump in before someone else filled in all the blanks before I could say good morning.
