DVI Out Dvd Player?

Anyone out there with the Samsung that can shed some light?

I have a samsung satellite HDTV with a DVI out and did some tests between the DVI out and the component vidio out and it was no contest, DVI won no contest. I know of the dvd player your talking about, I seen it at best buy for $289.00. If you have a T.V. with a DVI input Samsung claims the picture quality is almost as good as HDTV.

I have a 50" Grand Wega XBR and I just got the Samsung player. No doubt that for less than $300 the picture quality is excellent using the component video outs. It totally beats the Denon DVD-900 its replacing. Not so sure on the DVI yet... it's sharper but seems to have more pixelization and artifacts. I've got an Audioquest DVI cable on order and I'm hoping that it might just be a matter of Samsung supplying it with a cheap cable. Even if there is no improvement I wouldn't regret the purchase as the component out playback is top notch.
