    Need a little help deciding.

I went to Circuitcity to purchase a basic dvd player .I saw a brand new Sony DVP-NS57 or for $49 plus tax then I saw a Denon 757 dvd player for the same price but its an open box special and doesnt come with a remote in excellent condition. What do you think is the better deal ?

As a basic DVD player, a new-in-box Sony with remote for $49 is hard to beat. Compared to original prices, the Denon is a great deal. But do you need anything from the Denon that's worth not getting a remote?

Good point.I guess I liked the way the Denon looked because that's what I went back and purchased along with an extened warranty for $14.99.Its a lot more solid looking to me .I've just ordered a remote from Denon for $19.99 .Thanx for the advice though.

You're quite welcome, but I didn't mean my reply as advice. I really meant it as a question. I also would've chosen the Denon, but I didn't know how much the quality or features of the Denon really mattered to you. $14.99 sounds like a good deal on the extended warranty. Nice find.

    Cool

Yes it is a great find, but you will be seeing more as teh price of "Blu"
    drops.
With a price of 150$ now that is only twice as much as your Denon.
