    Dts 6.1 Es
    I cant get my Lord of War DVD to play in 6.1 surround, or maybe i cant unlock it on my receiver, i have a Harman Kardon AVR135 receiver that is capable of decoding it but i have my 6th channel hooked up and im playing my dvd through my PS2 is that the problem because it says it can decode all DTS signals. Can anyone help me?

    Is the PS2 hooked up to the AVR through its Optical Output? If the Optical Output is plugged into the Optical Input of the AVR, then everything should be working Okay. You may need to scoll through the various audio options on the DVD menu. See here, it is the audio note symbol:http://www.us.playstation.com/PS2/Using/WatchDVDs

    Yeah i have it setup through the optical. And i did try to do it in the on screen menu.

    do you have the 1 disc or 2 disc version.The 1 disc,i don't believe,does not have dts 6.1.

    i have the 2 disk version and i was using the disc that said DTS on it. Oh and disc one does have it and it is selectable in the setup screen. i dont know, my manual says it will automatically decode and switch to DTS so i am still trying to figure it out.
