    Denon or Harmon Kardon
Hi, I am brand new to this forum and had a question regarding AV receivers. I have been in the process of updating my Home theater. I currently own a 36inch Sony Trinitron TV but I am in the process of looking at the 42 or 50 inch Sony LCD;s. I have the Polk RM6700 surround speakers with the Polk PSW404 Sub(200 w). My room size is 15x25. I have been looking the the Denon series, 2805/3805 and Harmon Kardon 630/7200 receivers. Does anyone have any experience with these? I saw these receivers on the web from resellers priced from $700-$1000.00. Are these receivers too much power for my speakers.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks again

    Anthony

Just to let you know onecall.com has the H/K 7200 for $839.00

I have a H/K 320 very easy to use (for kid's or wife) once setup, Just pick your source and the receiver does the rest. Not sure about the power, but better to have more then less.

My opinion is that Harman Kardon is the better of the two. The Harman Kardon has real solid power and pumps out bass effortlessly. Harman Kardon is also one of the few manufacturers who honestly rate there watts.
