    coax insulation around speakers

hi there- I'm a newbie here and trying to set up my home entertainment center... got a qustion though=>
I recently installed my new samsung plasma tv on the wall and now am in the process of running my cable wire(coax) to my cable box. The problem is that the coax must run right next to my left in-wall speaker and I think it's creating a bit of interference w/ the signal. Can anybody confirm that this the case and how might I insulate the coax a little more around the speaker magnet.
    many thanks

BTW, what is a good/decent sub-woofer for around 2-300 price range?

    1) It's not likely that those wires proximity to each other are causing problems.

    2) For bang for the buck subs in that price range, check out Dayton Powered Subwoofers at Parts Express
