Cleaning the Screen on an RPTV

Any one know of the best method for cleaning that football field sized piece of plastic on a Sony KP57HW HD TV? Or even better, how can I remove it altogether?

Your best bet is to use a damp cloth. Is this the protective screen or is it the actual screen (the 'actual' screen is pitted and the protective screen is smooth)? If it is the actual screen, you DO NOT want to use any harsh chemicals on it like windex. If it's the protective screen, you can basically use whatever you want although I would still recommend the damp cloth.

Generally speaking you have to take the top part of the RPTV off in order to remove any of the screens. This isn't all that difficult to do, it's just a little disconcerting to see your TV is two pieces...!!!
