    Bose Lifestyle 25 Problems

The bass unit on my system no longer works and I am exploring my options. Instead of sending the unit back to Bose for repair, I was wondering if I could untilize the Bose cube speakers and buy a new subwoofer and receiver from another company? In other words, will the Bose cube speakers work with another companies receiver and subwoofer? Also, has anyone had any experience with repairs from Bose? Thanks.

Nope. The crossover and 'protection' light bulbs are inside the bass unit so the tiny little satellites wouldn't last a minute without the bass module. Best to replace the whole thing.
