    Anything wrong with the Pioneer VSX-55txi
    I will be in the market for a receiver this side of Easter. I noticed in other threads Yamaha seems to get highly praised in the $1000+ range. I am a bit of a Pioneer fan so pre-decided on the 55txi.

    Is there something more than personal taste at stake here? Would my $$$$ be better spent on the Yamaha equivalent.

    For HT the Pioneer Elite is a solid choice, but check around on the price. I have seen the 55Tx going as low as $500-700.
