Great. Let us know what you think of it once you have it set up.

I actually decided to cancel order from Tweeter and go with Samsung 5064 from Amazon.com for $1749 delivered. Question about HDMI...does it deliver both sound and picture or just picture? Don't plan on using sound system with set so if I want to use TV speakers, can I just run HDMI from DVD player and cable box to set for picture and sound or do I need to run both HDMI and optical? If two cables are needed, I will probably just use component and optical because I have plenty of component cables laying around.

    Thanks!

HDMI will carry both video and audio.
Here is a good place to get quality cables at a very fair price.

They also have longer or shorter if that's what you need.

So I only need two HDMI cables - 1 for DVD and 1 for Time Warner...actually, I don't think any of my DVD players have HDMI so I guess I will be doing component and optical on it until I get a good DVD player. So let me make sure I got something straight...if I run HDMI from Time Warner to reciever, is all I have to run from reciever to plasma is another HDMI? I am not sure if I am going to use a Denon reciever or just use tv speakers yet.

And if I go component from DVD and optical from DVD to reciever, I assume I also have to go component and optical from reciever to plasma>

In theory, yes. But I have heard that some have trouble getting the receiver to be able to repeat the signal via HDMI to the TV. I guess it depends on whether you have a 1.1 HDMI or 1.3 HDMI receiver. Mine has neither, so I go straight from the cable box to the projector with an HDMI and then optical from the box to my HDMI.less receiver.

I've been spoiled now. All sound goes through the receiver. No exceptions.

Depends on your receiver. Some will do the switching for you. Not sure if your Denon will.

Looks like we need someone with more knowledge about your Denon. You may have more luck starting a new thread about HDMI switching & repeating.
