I'm talking about PRISTINE PICTURE & MASTER QUALITY AUDIO ON A BR DISC

on your "HT" in 5.1 & 7.1, 720P or 1080P a movie that let you hear DETIALS that you never heard before on your HT....like three to four diffrent conversation coming at you at the same time from (FR,C,FL,SR OR SRB + SUB).....

    Cool

Casino Royale had the best pic.
As for the audio I like the 96k audio discs, I have two.
TERMINATOR II comes in as the best "surprize", probably because it was remastered
awhile back, usually the older the disc the worse the quality.
I prefer linear pcm 5.1 on my player because I dont know what I get with dts master, etc.
I do know that even DVD sounds great and looks great on my Blu ray.
If you are in the market do NOT get an "upconverter", a blu player will knock its socks off in every categeory for not much more money.

Don't play it too loud though, the blower in that Rustang's liable to blow up.

Some titles do stand out above others, but I agree, hard to go wrong with most BR disc. Especially newer released titles.

Some of the very first titles to come out are pretty weak though and lack a HD track.

Hmmm its been a while since I posted on here, but this title has always been hands down one of the best to show off a system U-571, the opening scene with the depth charges.

    Cool Great BR flicks ?

    Hello all.

I must say they done a supurb job restoring the original Sean Connery Bond films. I have
all on DVD and compared it to the Blu Ray restorations, there is no comparison. So much
dirt was removed, they actually surpass some very poorly restored BR films I've seen.

If you don't have the James Bond films of DVD, then if you were going to start collecting
them, I'd seriously go for the Blu Ray option instead. The sound is all HD Master Audio,
they removed every flaw, single spec of dust from the original film for the BR reproductions,
    definately worth it.

Heroes Season 1 and 2 I got in a Boxed Set, and absolutely incredible. If you're a Heroes
fan, you cannot afford to miss these.

For the generation-x they also retored in High Def the games Dragon's Lair and Space
Ace (which originally were on laser disc in coin operated video game format back in 1983).
The sound and picture are supurb, if you liked those games, you so want to get these.
In addition they are region 0 meaning they will not be locked down by country.

Jet Li Fearless is also extremely well done. Overall it is a great film, I brought the
soundtrack, because it is also great. If your system is first rate to play back sound
and 1080p, this flick should be in your collection. The sound effects during the fight
sequences, turn it up, and you feel you're sitting there 10 metres from Jet Li.

Just finished Watching Quantum Solace on BR and it's absolutely incredible. Definately
worthwhile watching on BR. The sound is sensational. The picture is crystal clear as
    much so as Casino Royale.
