6.1 Question

I am seeing a lot of Receivers on the market over the last 2 years that say 6.1 Dolby EX,
6.1 DTS NEO, 6.1 DTS ES etc but out of all the DVD'S I own I have never seen a DVD menu yet that gives me that option, they ALL say 5.1 Dolby or 5.1 DTS???
In otherwords is there 6.1 DVD's out there or does the actual receiver do that for us if we have a rear centre surround setup??

Both. Here's a list of DTS ES 6.1 DVD's. When playing 5.1, you can have your AVR matrix a 6th channel.

I own the Conn 9's including the matching Centre channel, I have Energy bookshelves for the rear speakers, I was very lucky as I bought my mains & centre channel @ a year end Blem. sale that the Audioshop in Ottawa holds every yr, I paid $1,200 in total($850 mains, $350 Centre channel).
Oh yes CDN $ I might add.
