3rd party remote for Denon AVR-3311CI
Hi, I'm considering purchasing a Denon AVR-3311CI home theater receiver. I'd like to have the main room wired for 5.1 surround and a second zone (outdoor) with 2-channel. The receiver has RS-232C for 3rd party remote. Can anyone get me pointed in the right direction for this? I'm a DIY kind of person. Also, preferrably the remote would be water resistant as it will be outdoor (under porch roof).

Lastly, any helpful comments on the receiver are appreciated. I'm buying this one mainly because of its' compatability with 3-D televisions (and Denon has a good reputation).

    Thank you!

Unless you actually want a second remote it's largely unnecessary. Something like this would be effective and allow for future upgrades:

a easier route would be to utilize the second zone remote that comes with the Denon, put it in some kind of protective cover, wire an IR repeater system for control
