Guys, I really dont know what to spend here. Does anybody know what brand has been consistently praised? You know, say you aren't familiar with these...Or perhaps you only know one/a few of these......Any imput would be beneficiary to me, so even if you can only suggest your personal choice for a brand out of these, that would be great too. Thanks

believe you should provide more detail...

    what size room?
what type of features do you need....2 zones, RF remote, 7.1 setup, etc.
what type of speakers and there ratings
how long to you plan to keep?
do you need HDMI? if so, how many inputs, etc.

Can't go wrong with an Integra.
    I AM ON MY SECOND.
And they are the few left with a decent phono stage, the amps, while still sucky,
are quite good for receiver amps, and you can get a two channel amp for the front left and right for serious listening, and the surround amps work fine for HT.
Makes a great pre-amp, in other words.
I put an Emotiva two channel on mine, it makes a great pre-amp.
And its got a three year warrenty, not that you will need it.:1:

Don't forget to check your results on AudioKarma for this exact same post. I'm sure you'll come to a decision when all the votes are tallied.

If you'll notice, some of the same questions were posed ther as well, and much earlier than this post was made.

Aren't the Pioneer Elites you listed above are older models? Why would you not look for VSX-21/23-TXH or SC-25 i.e. if you can still find them.
However, Pioneer will be releasing their new entry level Elites end of this month and their high end Elites in mid-July.
