    Onkyo TX-SR545

Looking for a power supply unit for my Onkyo TX-SR545. It is an old A/V Processor but worked great until power supply got fried.

Does anyone think I can find parts for this older unit? No real luck on the web so far. Still looking.

Upgrade no an option finacially right now, thought I could save by fixing the old girl..

    Thanks

Chad, I am going to be honest with you. There is zero benefit from trying to recondition an old low level receiver. There is much more value in replacing it with a higher level(but not so much higher) HDMI based equal level Onkyo receiver. The reality is you could replace it with a similar priced newer receiver, and get far more benefits overall.

I would look beyond this receiver for a newer near or equally priced one, and get more benefits from the process.

Its not worth the trouble trying to fix it. You can find a similar used model in very good condition for not much more than a new power supply would cost. Look around on eBay.
