    Why, and more importantly How, did you delete my Audiophiles Versus Videophiles thread?

    (I'm guessing it was an accident/system malfunction)....

    Can non-mods delete other members threads? (I don't think sticks is a mod... is he?)

    I fear Sticks has been taken over by some hellish demon that is intent on wrecking these boards. He's going back in time, deleting threads.................what's next? :confused:

    If he goes on a Red Chicklet Campaign, we might need to form a militia and take him out.

    Of course, he might have just gotten some bad Mexican last night and it's not agreeing with him. :crazy:

    Not quite... but that service is 1-800-NEED-HEAD

    Seriously though, the headphones don't cost $2K. The Headphones + DAC/Headphone Amp + Squeezebox costs almost $2K...

    FWIW, there are two different levels of deleting a post. The most common is where the post is deleted, but still *visible* to mods to provide an audit trail. That's how I attack the occasional spam post. There is also the ability to totally remove it without a trace - which I have done only once to remove a completely inappropriate to anyone porn message.

    As you indicated, I think the BBS software hiccuped.

    I'd missed this thread earlier, so I'll say it one last time: Any sauciness transpiring 'round these parts is systemic failure not my black magic. Anyone who's ever tried to guide me through even the most simplistic computer ops can attest to the fact that there's some ignorance that even black magic can't overcome.
