    Why does Asia have all the HDCDs?
    It seems that Asia has access to all kinds of awesome gold discs and hdcds...why is this? How do they go about converting albums that have been released in regular 16 bit into 20 bit hdcds? Do they actually take the original tapes and remaster the tracks? Why don't they sell this stuff in the US?!

    copyright laws are different in Asia/Japan, and most electronics are made in Asia now so they are on the forefront of new tech stuff.
