    What Did Santa Bring You
I got my big present a couple of weeks ago. The 46" Panasonic plasma is working perfectly. Also got a Panasonic Blu Ray player and a couple of movies. The wife got me a very nice cabinet to store my vinyl in and it's the perfect place to put my center channel speaker. Hope Santa got a hernia at your house also. Merry Christmas everyone.

I'm hoping for a pair of Magnepan 3.6's.

    Well...
I'd upgraded my entire HT hookup earlier this year, cept for my speakers. As a result Santa skipped my crib this season. Only thing I got myself was "Call of Duty, World at War" which I've already finished. Sigh... But I'm healthy, still workin' and have family and friends, so.. what's to kick?

I got a pair of Converse All Star high tops, a CD (Chances by Jill Barber - a Canadian singer backed by a true big band), some home made fudge, a couple of books (Steve Berry's last one & Top 100 Canadian Albums), a one year pass to Imax, some kitchen implements (I work in the food service trade hence the herb reference in my avatar. Sorry, nothing to do with wisdom. LOL), lots of hugs and kisses and...

But what should matter is what I gave.

...I got my lady a stereo of her own. A compact Denon head unit (CD/amp/tuner in one unit) and a pair of Paradign speakers. To go along with the theme of music, some tickets to a Bill Frisell concert. She was a blue grass/folk gal but in time she got to enjoy jazz, blues and world beat.

No 3.6's this time around. I should have bought them a few yrs ago when my wife gave me the OK to buy the 3.6's. I went with the 1.6's instead. Maybe next Christmas I'll get lucky.
