Very simply problem, I need a simply solution

    Hi all,

I just got a new HDTV, in which I connect a PS3 and an HD cable box. I have two nice Paradigm speakers from the 90's that my dad was gracious enough to give me, and I'd like to hook them up. I do NOT want a full-on A/V receiver, I just want a bridge from the TV to the two (2) speakers that will sit on either side of the TV.

Maybe down the road, I'll drop the cash on the receiver. Until then, all I want is a little in-between.

    What would you guys do?

buy an amp (or a receiver, or an integrated amp...), because your tv most likely won't have the guts to drive the paradigms...

I second basite's recommendation. Unfortunately, I doubt it will be very cost effective.

A cheap-o used 2 channel receiver could hold you over. HK, Marantz, Yamaha, Denon, Onkyo and Pioneer are just a few of the good name brands.

If you got 70 bucks you can even get this until you can get something better.
