    teac vrds 10
I have a chance to buy a second hand Teac VRDS 10 CD player from a friend whom i know has rarely used it. Is that technology still good or are newer cd player much better now? I'll be paying about £250 for it that buys me an Audio Cambridge Azur 640 new.

still an excellent cd player, but....
It may not be able to play recorded cd's, you may check this out if it is an issue to you :>

The one I have doesn't play CD-R's or CD-RW's. I always found that strange because the cheap player in my car does! As a result, I use the Teac in a bedroom system rather than my main one.

Do you think i should spend £250 on it our would i get a better sound from an Arcam, or a cambridge audio at 250 to 350 pounds.

Have you ever tried to find reviews for the vrds 10, I'm still confussed about buying old technology v budget new technology.
