    Sound-blocking tape?
Sennheiser HD 535's are tremendous except for the leakage bothering my wife. Surprising because they enclose the ear though I suspect the sporty plastic weave pattern on the outside of each cup is the source of the leakage.

What is a good sound-blocking tape to cover this weave? Thank you

Sorry, Jan, I can't help myself!
Rip five or six inches of duct tape off the roll and apply to wife's mouth. "Leakage" solved! LOL, nudge, nudge, wink, wink, know whadda mean??

    Uhm.....
From your description, it sounds as though you've purchased vented headphones.....now you can put tape over them, but it will screw up the sound.

You probably need to go invest in some closed-back 'phones.....
