running hifi equipment with voltage transformers (American 110v cd player in Europe)

I'm being offered this really good deal on a CD player which runs off 110 volts. If i bring it to spain and run it through a transformers, that will give me the 110 output i need to run it, but it will still be 50Hz instead of 60
i know this to be an issue with turntables, but will it be a problem with a CD player?
    Cheers!
I remember the days when I thought 128kbps sounded great and had never spent more than 10 bucks on cables...

I have done it many times, and no problem :-)
Lots of music but not enough time for it all
