Need to find a good pop-up eliminator
    Hi
Anyone know of a good pop-up eliminator that doesn't seed your computer with data miners?

Google toolbar is my favorite by far, plus it adds some pretty cool features. Not sure of the exact site, just go to www.google.com and search for google toolbar.

I'm running Road Runner so if you don't get a good pop-up killer to work with it you'll be swamped in minutes. RR has a decent one but I went with "StopZilla" for 19 bucks a year. She kills em and drills em pretty damn good if you ask me.

    Da Worfster

It's built into Netscape 7.1 and works perfectly.

Yeah, you COULD spend $2500 for a low end Mac...or you could get Google Toolbar for free. You decide.

Download Mozilla from www.mozilla.org. it is far supior to IE in every way that i have found and has a great built in popup blocker. I will also second getting a mac, and you dont have to spend $2500

I would also go with either the latest incarnation of Mozilla (codenamed Firebird) or Netscape 7.1. I use Netscape and the popup blocker works perfectly. You can disable it for specific websites that require a popup for data entry or content reading.
