    Music good for health?

Well friends, I am gonna do a presentation in front of class tomorrow. The topic is "Music: Is it good for health?". I have searched high and low for any information and I feel like blowing up. Please help me..?? I need 5 reasons why it is, or 5 reasons why it isn't. Thank you in advance.

How about being prepared in advance...... Ah hell I used to do it too.

It's only good more for those who love music. I dont even go out for lunch at work anymore, instead I bring lunch to work and work straight thru it with a pair of headphones on. Helps me out alot. But my entire family hates music...even my sister with PH.D in Music Performance....

Well, one angle that you could take is that worship music is good for spiritual health...that is just one dynamic of music in general.

Cool makes my day better everytime

If there is nothing else I can count on, it's that my tunes are waiting for me when i get home, and knowing that they will be played through MY system, is just an awsome bonus... -peace

    Smile therapeutic !

I don't think there is any doubt about music being good for your health, to chill out with your favourite audio selections, must go some way to lowering blood pressure, it does in my case, and I'm sure there is a medical journal somewhere that has proof of this theory !

Best regards to all believers out there !

There was a study some 20 odd years ago that found that humor improved outcomes for patients in hospitals. I would suspect the same applies to music.
