I've found it very useful. For example, bookmarking is an important feature for me. It can be hard to find out if a player supports bookmarking even with google, downloaded manuals and so on. A quick look at the chart answers that question and many more without having to spend time researching.

Thanks, Bubba. This is interesting since I'm seriously considering a new player.

Frankly the iTouch looks great but it's pricey and does have more 'stuff' than I need.
