    Top to bottom, (under Pavarotti):

    • Denon T-767 tuner (from the early 1980's)
    • Sony SCD-775CE SACD player
    • Schiit Bifrost Uber DAC
    • Audio Research LS9 preamp
    • Belkin PF60 AC filter and surge protector
    • Pass Labs X150.5 power amp
    • to the right, a slice on one Magneplanar MG 1.6QR speaker
    • (not in view) PSB Subsonic 5 subwoofer


    Re. the Sony SACD, 16/44.1 through the Schiit DAC sounds better than SACD direct from the player's analog.

    The Pass amp is a bit too heavy, (62 lbs), for the shelves; I fabricated the floor stand from scrap lumber.
