Hi all, and need help choosing A/V receiver

First of all, I would like to say hello to everyone here. I am new and need help in choosing a not too expensive a/v reciever. Don't know much about reciever, but here is the situation.

I got a pair of Wharfedale Emerald 97 and would appreciate everyone here with the experience and knowledge in matching it up with a right receiver. Don't want to spend to much (under $250 if possible) I don't see any posting regarding matching with this particular set. Any help would greatly appreciate. Thanks in advanced.
