    Logos

Has anyone else noticed that the amount of logos on equipment seems to be getting abit much. I know it started way back with a license thing between Dolby Labs and makers of cassette decks. Is that still the case? Seems to me if one does abit of research they know the features of a product. (Rember the times when a sales person would do that). Maybe I'm just being petty, but appearance matters too. Do manufacturers and some of the buying public think this makes the product more impressive? One alternative I've seen is along the top edge. That's my rant any thoughts?

    Hey Alex,

I'm sure the manufacturers view it as another form of showroom advertising geared toward the stat conscious and those new to the hobby...all those little designer labels screaming the attributes of their systems. That said, I prefer my equipment largely unadorned and I see your point.

    Cheers

With a sponge and a rusty spanner
She said : "Eh, I know you, and you cannot sing"
I said : "That's nothing - you should hear me play piano"
