    Bi-wiring and Onkyo
I recently pruchased a new set of main speakers and it has been suggested that bi-wiring the speakers will make them sound even better. I contacted Onkyo and they strongly discouraged me from doing this. I guess I have a two part question: Does bi-wiring really make that much of a diference and has anyone had any experience bi-wiring an Onkyo receiver? The reciver is a TX-DS595. Thanks for any imput.

    What exactly did they say...
...that bi-wiring might cause the unit to blow-up and thus void the guarantee or that the practice was a waste of time?

Too many loose strands of wire COULD leave room for error and short out the amp...they could be erring on the side of safety to PYA...

Me? I think it's a waste...but hey that's just my opinion, regardless loudspeaker type, make, model or serial number...

The speakers I purchaed are Fluance SV-10's and I am very impressed with them. I actually found this sight while doing research on Fluance. Onkyo's concern was more for protection purposes than quality.
