    The Best Sites!!!!

    Hey everyone...

I thought it would be cool for us to compile a large listing of some of the best resources out there for A/V related material. I know that alot of us use online retailers to buy stuff from, but what are some other great resources? It would be great to list retailers, review sites, show material, etc etc.

For me I use the following sites often...

    AudioGon
    Audio Advisor
    Stereophile
    Widescreen Review
    DMC-Electronics
    Spearit Sound
Music Direct (great free magazine too!)
    RAM electronics
    AudioConnection
    Needle Doctor
    OneCall
    New York Sound Specialty Store

If you've ever thought about trying vintage gear, these two sites are great places to start (go here before you spend your money on eBay):
    www.fmtunerinfo.com
    www.classic-audio.com

in addition to audioadvisor, spearitsound and some of the others you've mentioned, these are interesting online sellers:
    www.tsto.com
    www.upscaleaudio.com
    www.underwoodhifi.com

then there are the obvious sites:
    www.audiogon.com
    www.audioasylum.com

I used to frequent a site dedicated to Dual turntables, but I've lost my link. For your turntable/vinyl needs:
    www.garage-a-records.com
    www.lpgear.com

DYI and other stuff like the Sonic Impact T-amp:
    www.partsexpress.com

if it's not at Music Direct, it's probably at www.acousticsounds.com or www.elusivedisc.com

for a massive collection of reviews go to www.ecoustics.com

I bought my speakers from spearit sound. They are not more than 15 minutes away from me. Really helpful people, taught me a lot.
