amp/receiver recs for Linn Tukans

I have purchased some used white Linn tukans and have a REL 205 sub to go with them. Was curious as to what people recommend to drive this with. I am looking for something ideally less than 500$, but was considering the NAD Viso two as well, although I wont need as a DVD player in this room - at least for now. I plan to mainly play music from my powerbook through an airport express and a beresford DAC. An integrated AMP is OK as I could add a dynalab tuner as well. My original plan was to get a YAQIN MC-10L integrated tube amp to see what tubes are all about, but I read in a few places this is not recommended. Most people seem to rec. Linn amps, but they look to be very expensive.

Also - any way to tell which version of the tweeter is in my speaker - I understand it was upgraded...

My other set-up is Merlin TSM-MME's and a Dynalab recevier with the same sub...

I listen to rock/ambient-lounge/some world/classical/some jazz...
