    Alarm Radio

I have a great system in the bedroom but what I am looking for is a good sounding clock/radio. Any recommendations.

This Cambridge Soundworks table radio is astonishingly good and will easily fill your bedroom with quality sound. I've got an older Model 88 in our kitchen and we listen to it all the time. It flat smokes the Bose Waveradio for hundreds less. Originally designed by the legendary Henry Kloss (AR, Advent, KLH), CSW has always offered tremendous bang-for-the-buck. Check for their B-stock in their outlet store or ebay as well.

    Hope this helps.

I use this and it works great. Best clock radio I have ever owned.

I concur with the Boston Receptor as well. I bought one for my wife about a year ago. Very nice sound quality (for a monophonic tabletop radio), solid build quality, and an excellent built-in tuner. It is expensive for what it is, but the quality is definitely there.

My 22-year old Sony clock radio just crapped out on me a couple of nights ago, so I'll be shopping for a new clock radio as well. I'm looking at the Boston Receptor, partly because my wife and I will then have matching clock radios again! When we started dating, it was actually pretty freaky how many items we had in common -- identical cars (same color even), identical former cars (different colors though), identical clock radios, identical HP calculators, nearly identical TVs (hers was bigger, so we kept that one), identical toaster ovens, and a lot of the same CDs. Scary!

Aside from that, I also like the CSW radio.
