    The Watchmen movie

    Start complaining here.

I just read on another message board that they may drop the Black Freighter sequences.

    Well that's interrestin

I don't know how many here have read the book(s) but I have. I'm not sure if the Black Freighter is necessary or are you refering to the whole "purpose" the for the freighters voyage?

Read the "Absolute Watchmen" last summer at my son's urging. I thought it was a very interesting twist on the comic book genre. Besides you can blame the studio for not willing to increase the budget. Hopefully that theme/scene will be incorporated in the DVD release.

I am becoming a Alan Moore fan and perhaps with the success of "V for Vendetta" and possibly this movie we will see more of his stuff on the screen. I know there have been some lamer versions of some of his stuff on film but probably with the exception of "The League of Extrodinary Gentlemen" ( to recent) it could probably be re-made.

The movie's only in pre-production as far as I know. Certainly it will be a while before it hits theaters.
