hey, made a few suggestions, substitutions, and subtractions. just a few more ideas. :) but its a nice solid list of fun movies.

Gladiator (+1 or sub with the new 3 disc spec ed of Ben Hur)
Lord of the Rings Trilogy(extended editions)
    Terminator Trilogy (-1 i'd say skip T3)
    Pirates of the Carribean
    Black Hawk Down
    Saving Private Ryan
    I,Robot (substitute Blade Runner here)
Chicago (i'd say Moulin Rouge over chicago)
    The Italian Job
    Star Wars I-VI
    Master and Commander
    U-571
Blue Planet (Step into Liquid as a sub or +1)
    Monsters, Inc
    Heat
    Armageddon
    Kill Bill Vol 1&2
    The Incredibles
    The Abyss
    Indiana Jones collections
    The Fifth Element
Jurassic Park Trilogy (-1 JP3 i thought was pretty useless)
    Finding Nemo
    The Lion King
    Star Gate
    Toy Story 1&2
    I-Robot (-1, you mentioned it above :) )
    Twister
    Jaws
The good, the bad and the ugly (+2 get the whole trilogy here Fistful of Dollars and For A Few Dollars More)
    Unforgiven
Crouching Tiger (Hero and House of Flying Daggers would make a nice chinese cinema trilogy here)
    X2: X-Men United
    Top Gun
    Lawrence of Arabia
    Das Boot
    Batman
    Batman Begins
    Airplane
    Blade Trilogy
    Fight Club (+1 and Se7en)
Starship Troopers (I'd substitute the spec edition of Robocop if you can find it, the unrated version is awesome)
Sky Captain (i'd sub with Sin City for the better story and the equally, if not more, impressive visual feast.)
    Die Hard
    Bourne Idenity
    Aliens
The day after tomorrow (-1 i personally thought this a pretty solid crap movie, but a good disaster flick could be The Poseidon Adventure, The Towering Inferno, Airport (which would be a nice compare with Airplane))

    And just a few suggestions:
    Pulp Fiction
    Memento
    Donnie Darko
    True Lies
    Ran
    Godfather 1 + 2

    happy viewings!!
    :)

I don't know if this is what you're getting at but Armageddon and JP II were just not good movies and what about the first Alien?

    Armageddon

I would definetly take that one away. I went during day time where ticket price is half, but I am still mad about spending that much money [and time] on this movie

    Hey Kam,
Those are some nice recommendations. Yeah a few of the trilogy's became mainly special effects(JP3 for instance) but I listed the whole trilogy for completist reasons. I think the additions of Hero and HOFD is a good idea.

100% correct about Pulp Fiction also.
