Yeah it was pretty good. Nothing like throwing on a movie you've been waiting to see when you missed it at the theater.

after seeing this in the theater, i had my own personal narration going on in my head for weeks. everywhere i went...

"i step onto the bus and take look into the mug only a mother could love, next to which is standing a dame with legs that go on forever. i look her up, she looks away. that's how my day goes... here.. in the City..."

And... SIN CITY 2 in pre-production right now!!! finally a sequel i actually want to see!

('as i type this, the relentless clack of the keyboard echoes in my office like the sound of a tommygun kicking wildly in your hands... i wonder who else can hear it... the dame in 304? can she hear my heart beat? these are the old days, the good days the all or nothing days, that's how my day goes... here... in the City....")

Just happy for the inclusion of the DTS audio track, even if it meant a lack of features. I hope the special edition (to be released around Christmas) includes this as well. The transfer looks and sounds fantastic!

    Just saw this last night....
Wow... what a stunning piece of cinematography. How to make a bloody movie, with no blood? What a great film. For once you can say, "I've never seen anything like THAT before". Great acting and wonderful casting. Particularly with in the case of the leads. I just plain flat out loved it.

The narration was spot-on crystal clear thru DTS. For me, that was the most impressive part of this terrifically well put together film. Yes, I'm a Frank Miller fan. But I can be objective and say that this was a fantastic piece of work, even for him. What a great story!!
