    Sapphire & Steel...

Anyone remember or seen this brilliant TV show from 1979 starring Joanna Lumley and David McCallum? This show IS available on DVD for those interesting in catching one of the best shows to ever hit the TV screens and has more wit and intelligence in 1 minute than most movies or TV shows these days can in their entire existence. These episodes are complex and are just awesome in every aspect. Reminds me of some of the better episodes of yet another amazing show THE AVENGERS and some of the better moments in the STAR TREK lineage.

    Well I'm stumped...

I, for one, never heard of this show. Where/what network did it air on? How many years? British I assume?

That's a pretty good desciption of the show and I think if more people could see the DVD box set of this program they would be amazed at the shows level of intellect and execution of some really great sci-fi themes. While it might be older and somewhat dated, the concepts are still executed quite well considering.
