My favorite song in a movie would be Sinatra's New York, New York in the movie Lost In America. After Albert Brooks and his wife gave up successful careers in NY city to be a hyppie and tour the Americas in a winnebago, they found out it is not all that cracked up to be. So in the last scene in the movie, they head back to NY in a hurry with Sinatra's song playing. Awesome!

Haven't seen'em all, but of the one's I've seen I'd have to agree. The Stockwell (Ben, you're so effin sauve) scene where he lip-syncs to "In Dreams" is awesome! I also like Ketty Lester's "Love Letters" and Bill Doggett's "Honky Tonk (Part 1)" used in Blue Velvet.

Other songs used in film that compliment what's on the screen:

Goodfellas - "Gimme Shelter"
Shallow Grave - "Happy Heart"
Trainspotting - "Perfect Day"
Fight Club - "Where is My Mind"
Reservoir Dogs - "Little Green Bag"
Apocalypse Now - "Ride of the Valkyries", "The End", "Satisfaction"

Those jump out but I'm sure there are others.
