One of the best movies I've seen in a long time.

I never heard of this movie, for some reason, before it appeared on Cinemax Saturday. The Secret Lives Of Bees is a terrific movie. It has an actual story, the casting is good, and confirms Queen Latifah can act if any one had doubts. This may not be the typical guys movie but I watched it with my wife and found myself thoroughly engrossed. It also helped that it wasn't a typical Hollywood stencil cut out.

Any one else seen it?

I've tried twice to read the book. Couldn't do it...it just bored me. My sister-in-law however LOVED the book. Maybe I should try the movie instead.

I forgot to mention Dakota Fanning is also in the movie and does a fabulous job.
